Hoar Frost Desert
Taken in Joshua Tree, CA mid february waking up to 8 inches of snow.
A rare occasion, though they usually expect a sheet of it in the winter months, its not common to get a pile.
By mid morning the sun was out, so it glistned on the branches and through the desert.
I'm not sure what I loved more about the whole scene.
The desert full of snow, or the moon still halfway in the sky with the sun.
